چکیده

Based on the isotope-geochronological (zircons, U-Pb method), petrogeochemical, and structural petrologic data, following paper provides a detailed description of characteristics Late Paleozoic basic granitoid magmatism in eastern part Kaakhem magmatic area (Eastern Tuva). During formation Shivey alkaline-granitoid Chadal gabbroid massifs period 292–283 Ma, there were revealed two stages contrasting magmatism. The early stage is characterized by plutonic mingling structures intermediate rocks. Deformation structures, widespread early-mingling rocks, are superimposed formed extensional regime. At later stage, occurred sequential intrusion salic mafic magmas into zones local extension host A similar petrogeochemical composition rocks late indicates that they all from enriched magma. Granosyenites granites derived melting tonalities metasedimentary with significant contribution mantle component. simultaneous Shivei took place at intraplate development geological Eastern Tuva Paleozoic.

Middle Paleozoic convergent orogenic belts in western Inner Mongolia (China): framework, kinematics, geochronology and implications for tectonic evolution of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt

Based mainly on field geological observation and geochronologic data, six tectonic units have been recognized in western Inner Mongolia (China), including, from south to north: North China Craton (NCC), Southern Orogenic Belt (SOB), Hunshandake Block (HB), Northern Orogenic Belt (NOB), South Mongolia microcontinent (SMM), and Southern margin of Ergun Block (SME), suggesting that the tectonic fr...

Late orogenic carboniferous extensions in the Variscan French Massif Central

The Variscan French Massif Central experienced two successive stages of extension from Middle Carboniferous to Early Permian. In the northern Massif Central, the first stage began in the late Visean, immediately after nappe stacking, and is well recorded by NamurianWestphalian synkinematic plutonism. The Middle Carboniferous leucogranites widespread in the NW Massif Central (Limousin and Sioule...

Regional setting and geochronology of the Late Cretaceous Banatitic Magmatic and Metallogenetic Belt

Abstract The 1,500-km-long Banatitic Magmatic and Metallogenetic Belt (BMMB) of Romania, Serbia and Bulgaria is a complex calc-alkaline magmatic arc of Late Cretaceous age. It hosts a variety of magmatic-hydrothermal Cu, Au, Mo, Zn, Pb and Fe deposits, including Europe’s only world-class porphyry-copper deposits. Regional metallogeny can be linked to subduction of the Vardar Ocean during the La...

Tectonic History of the Eastern Edge of the Alexander Terrane, Southeast Alaska

Rocks exposed west of the Coast Plutonic Complex in southern southeast Alaska form an imbricate thrust belt that overprints the tectonic boundary between two of the largest allochthonous crustal fragments in the North American Cordillera, the Insular and Intermontane composite terranes. In the Alexander terrane (Insular composite terrane), lower Paleozoic metavolcanic and metasedimentary rocks ...
